Purpose
Focus on YOU
Many people hear the word "purpose" and they immediately feel overwhelmed or underproductive.
However, understanding that we all serve a purpose in our world can better help us each find the reason and intent behind our place in it.
Think you have to be fulfilling your ultimate purpose today? Unsure of what that purpose is?

As confusing as this next statement may be, our purposes are often changing and growing through the years. Where you are in your purpose now is important to where you will be in the future. Be content in your place in the world at this very moment, knowing it plays a role in where you are going. All the seasons of purpose prepared us for the next stages.

Getting frustrated because you aren't where you want to be or "should be" is unproductive and can leave you with less drive to keep moving forward and working. Our purposes may contain many different things, such as smiling at others, or spreading joy by cooking for people. Don't limit yourself and NEVER compare yourself to others. We each have places to fill in a world full of different skills, passions, and talents.

Acknowledging your passion is the first step to YOUR purpose.

The hardest part of realizing our purpose is in having to reflect on where we've been. While, our careers are important, they are typically less important than the people we meet or the product we provide. So assessing where you've been is important in communicating and working well.
We don't all see or talk to people everyday. Some of us work online, or in the home. Still, in each day we provide the work around us with something. Digging into what that is, may show us why we work the way we do.
Many times, our purpose has to do with our passion, whether it be art for a graphic designer, or writng for an author, identifying your passion is key. Then lining it up with your career, or maintaing an outlet outside of work, is the purpose in moving forward.
